Moncler Aspen Jacket
One of the standout pieces from the new Moncler Spring/Summer 2011 Collection is the Aspen Jacket.
The mix of canvas and leather piping came out really nice and the color accent on the hood makes for a nice finish. The jacket is now available at End. Get a closer look at the jacket after the jump.

Gaultier lesbian ad not quite what it appears
Gaultier lesbian ad not quite what it appears
By David Griner on Jan 31 2011 Tweet Fashion advertising is long past being scandalized by little lesbianism. But what if one of the women isn't actually a woman? That's sure to get you some meta buzz, as Jean Paul Gaultier is discovering with his new campaign featuring Victoria's Secret model Karolina Kurkova (left) and androgynous male model Andrej Pejic (right). The campaign is getting lots of attention for its faux sappho, partly because, as the Huffington Post notes, it comes on the heels of a Love magazine cover about androgyny which features Kate Moss kissing transsexual model Lea T. But it takes three to make a trend, so here's hoping GoDaddy.com finds a way to work this concept into the Super Bowl.

Imagery From Parker Fitzgerald
A multi-talented creative from Portland brings us this inspiring series of mixed text and visuals which really stopped me in my tracks as I browsed around the inter web today. Parker Fitzgerald is an illustrator, designer, and photographer with a passion for creating classic feeling photography which engages his viewers on a series of levels.
I’m a big fan of these visuals that Parker has taken, and I’ve gone ahead and selected a handful which I feel I can relate to most at this moment in time. These pieces were actually created as part of a year long project that Parker dedicated himself to last year, and a lot of them hold a timeless feel. I know I would appreciate these pieces even when I’m 60. For me that’s what good design means, a creation that can stand the test of time.
To be honest I don’t buy enough art work and imagery, but I would be quite happy parting with my money if Parker was to sell these as prints. I hope you are in awe of these as much as I am, enjoy.
