Levi’s x 686 The Times 2010 Winter Collection

In their inaugural collection, Levi’s and 686 led the way by creating waterproof breathable as the basis of their jacket and bottoms. Featuring jackets and bottoms for the mountain, Levi’s denim background is preserved throughout the collection with notable elements of the brand incorporated into the design. The marquee part of the collection are the bottoms which are reproductions of a 501 dubbed the “Heath” which dates back to 1927. The Heath was named after the student who discovered the jeans in a Las Vegas goldmine during a school project. The bottoms will be strictly limited to 200 pairs worldwide. Look for the collection to be available via 686.com and other selected retailers.

Billionaire Boys Club Shawl Sweaters

The latest from Billionaire Boys Club comes in the form of two new shawl collar sweaters for the 2010 Winter season. Offered are a couple of different colorways, one surely less flashy than the other, although both feature the same design characteristics one would expect from the popular streetwear label. Options include a grey/brown version as well as a camo with hints of orange. Both are now available through select BBC/Ice Cream outlets.

BAPE x Casio G-Shock – GLS-5500

BAPE x Casio G Shock GLS 5500
Hot on the heels of the BAPE smoker comes a more traditional way to show affinity for the Ape General: another BAPE and Casio co-produced G-Shock. The platform for this project is the relatively slim GLS-5500, a similar profile to the G-5500AL-1JR used in a very recent Casio x ALIFE collaboration. It’s nice to see a new profile in the mix, rather than the DW-5600 we see so much of in these collaboration pieces. The BAPE GLS-5500 has a pretty safe black color scheme, but gets pushbuttons in both blue and red. And of course, the ever-popular Ape logo backlight is present. Check out a close of up of the BAPE backlight after the jump.
