The Dream – 1977

The drama in his personal life largely behind him, Terius Nash returns to the craft which made him a household name. 1977 is the newest project by The Dream and looks to set the stage for what could be a busy fall and winter for one of R&B’s more talented stars. And to make matters even more enticing, the decision to release the project for free.99 is completely against Def Jam’s wishes.

Oh well, it’s not the first time an artist and label have disagreed. And at least this time the fans get some sort of compensation out of the deal. Pharrell, Big Sean and newcomer Casha are the only guests invited to tag along with Terius on his journey through the land of melodies, seamless transitions and the occasional baby-making.

1. Wake Me When It’s Over
2. Used to Be
3. Long Gone
4. Ghetto Feat. Big Sean
5. Wedding Crasher
6. Rolex Feat. Casha
7. Silly (Introducing Casha)
8. 1977 (Miss You Still)
9. Wish You Were Mine
10. Real Feat. Pharrell
11. Form of Flattery
